About Moonlight Korean Chicken & Beer

Let me introduce you to Moonlight Korean Chicken & Beer, a laid-back Korean restaurant that feels like a casual hangout you instantly want to return to, especially if crispy chicken and cold drinks are your comfort zone. Tucked away at 101/1 101/2 Soi Sukhumvit 63, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10260, Thailand, this spot brings a slice of Korean nightlife energy into the neighborhood without trying too hard. From the moment you step in, the vibe leans friendly and relaxed, with the kind of atmosphere that works just as well for an easy dinner as it does for a late-night bite with friends. Moonlight Korean Chicken & Beer focuses on bold, familiar flavors, and the menu is designed for sharing, snacking, and lingering conversations. Korean-style fried chicken is the clear star, balanced with a solid lineup of beer and spirits that make pairing effortless, even if you’re only stopping by for a quick bite. The service options are flexible too, which makes life easier on busy days, whether you’re choosing dine-in for the full experience, grabbing takeaway on the way home, or ordering delivery when staying in feels better. Alcohol is very much part of the personality here, but it never overshadows the food; instead, beer, spirits, and late-night food work together to create a relaxed rhythm that keeps the space lively. What really stands out is how approachable everything feels, from the menu to the mood, making Moonlight Korean Chicken & Beer a natural choice for casual meetups, after-work drinks, or spontaneous food cravings. It’s the kind of Korean restaurant that doesn’t need to shout for attention, because once people find it, they tend to talk about it, recommend it, and come back for more chicken, more laughs, and another round.

Super crispy fried chicken. Hot plate pork belly kimchi tofu is the best.

We were hesitating to go into the shop coz no customers in it (during covid). But we are really surprised with the flavour here!! We were 2 adults and 2 kids(6yrs), ordered half fried chicken in garlic sauce and a porkbelly/kimchi/tofu on hot plate. Both are soooo good!!! Chicken is super crispy and juicy that my kids were so happy with it. And the pork belly is just wonderful with kimchi and tofu, a balanced combination. Thumbs up!! Totally recommended.

Went here early evening on a weekday..so it wasn't busy, which did have its influence on the atmosphere. The spicy fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and a perfect mix of spicy and sweet. The tofu with kimchi and pork was also very tasty, and the beers were cold. Service was fine. I'd definitely return someday later in the evening, maybe on the weekend, because I think that the atmosphere would be great if it was busy.

The owner was nice. Their staff was even more than welling to serve. Their food was good, too. Yet I think their food was a bit pricy. And the choice of dish was limited. Note, they served free preserved radish and prawn cracker.
